We just got a 55 galloon aquarium and moved our outdoor pong goldfish into it. I am not sure if we leave the light on 24/7 or shut it off since the fish are used to not having light on them when they were outside at night. Do fish do better with constant light or just having the light on during the day and off at night?

I have a 54 gallon corner aquarium and need to get a new power compact light. Do you they make specific ones for corner tanks? If so where can i find one. The traditional ones probably wont fit on top. This is a saltwater reef tank.

I have a planted Aquarium with a 25 Watt aquarium light in a 50 gallon tank and I heard that you need 2-3 Watts per gallon for a planted aquarium. This means I need a 150-100 Watt light. I have a tank that is rounded in the front and I have a special fitted top. I am not certain that I could add another light but what should I do.
Suggestions please.

I saw some cartoons on television where some characters catch goldfish from their bowls and make it into sushi or cook it. Do some people actually eat pet fish (not only goldfish)? (Are some pet-fish used as food {for humans} ?) Or what kind of food-fish are used also as pets?

I recently hooked up my aquarium light to a timer so it goes on at 7 am and off at 7 pm. I used to turn it off and on at 8 am and 6 pm. I noticed there’s white furry looking mold growing on the top of my filter where the water doesn’t touch. Should I be able to just wipe it off with a paper towel or is it going to reappear? it’s a ten gallon tank if that matters. Thanks!
